Like other Twitter applications it interfaces with the Twitter API to allow users to send and receive tweets and view profiles. After exploring the interface and the features, I’ve determined that I’ll be replacing my premium-priced Tweetie application with TweetDeck.TweetDeck is an Adobe AIR desktop application. The TweetDeck for iPhone app is pretty slick. If you’re a fan of the TweetDeck desktop Twitter client, you’ll probably be going nuts over the TweetDeck for iPhone app – I know I am.ĭownload TweetDeck for FREE here or here (iTunes link). You get desktop-to-mobile TweetDeck sync, Facebook toolbar-esque status updates, support for multiple accounts, shake-to-refresh, and full-featured account management directly from the app itself – all while you navigate around with finger-flicking ease. Almost as soon as I posted about hoping to see TweetDeck hitting the AppStore in the near future, TweetDeck goes and gets all official on the iPhone.
